Mission & Objectives

The ACICE is guided by established ASEAN principles of respect for sovereignty, equality, territorial integrity, and non-interference in the internal affairs of AMS as enshrined in the ASEAN Charter, and in accordance with ASEAN principles and processes.

Our Objectives

a. Information-Sharing and Analysis. Facilitate the sharing of information, research and analysis on cyber, information and other emerging threats relevant to the defence sector.

b. Multilateral Cooperation. Strengthen cooperation among ASEAN defence establishments in addressing cyber and information threats.

c. Confidence-Building and Capacity-Building. Serve as a platform for confidence-building and capacity-building initiatives among ASEAN defence establishments in the cyber and information domains.

d. Regional Cybersecurity Cooperation. Complement the ASEAN Cyber Defence Network (ACDN) by promoting regional exchanges, engagement and cooperation on cybersecurity.
